Alas! Nano is over and instead of 50,000 words I returned with less than 4,000. What do I have to say for myself?
Only this. I have several pages into a novel that could reach fruition one day ... Or not. Pure potential at any rate.
Also, though I did not complete the 50,000 on one piece I am happy to say I wrote. I wrote a lot. Some of it is in electronic form on my ( now dead yet backed up) computer, and some of it is in the many note notebooks I keep handy for writing.
As it is I am experiencing a shift in my writing. Sort of an avalanche, tornado earthquake kind of shift. Only today has the dust begun to settle on that event and I am finding my voice again.
So I did not complete the requirements of Nano, but I am traveling the path that fuels my passion as a writer. Where that path leads I am excited to follow.
And as always dear readers ... I will update you with the adventures!
